Abstract
This research study examines the language of educational discourse in a selection of sacred hadiths, employing modern linguistic approaches with a focus on communication and exchange. The objective is to examine educational discourse from a new perspective using a contemporary methodology that distances itself from the classical analyses commonly employed by many researchers. Consequently, this project was prompted by a set of theoretical questions: Do sacred hadiths bear the same linguistic features as ordinary discourse, or do they possess unique characteristics? What criteria have conversational theorists established that can assist us in analysing it? The study yielded several results: Firstly, conversational impact in educational discourse manifests in various ways, such as in argumentation and speech acts. Secondly, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used various verbal techniques in his sacred hadiths to convey educational messages to his audience.
