Abstract
The system of education in India has seen several shifts throughout its history and into the present day. Education is more than simply the acquisition of factual knowledge; it also includes the development of practical abilities. Successful resource management is facilitated by education. Educating a population is one of the best ways to grow a nation's economy and standard of living. India has recently introduced new educational policies. Taking a tour through India's educational policy is like taking a trip through the country's policymaking history. India's first national education policy was enacted in 1968, with a revised version appearing in 1992. The year 2020 saw the implementation of the country's third comprehensive education plan. With the help of an analysis of secondary sources, the authors of this article draw comparisons between these three national education strategies.
