A Comparative Framework of Gender Sensitive Factors affecting Gender Sensitivity in Schools of Delhi

Abstract
Gender sensitisation is spreading the wings of awareness and altering the behaviour of the individuals towards
the gender. It is a revolutionary tool that can create gender awareness by eradicating the stereotypical thinking
and orthodox practice of the society. Education is a weapon through which the perception and attitude can be
modified. It is essential to analyse the perception of the students. Training programs should be conducted to
forge the perception of the student towards gender sensitisation. For this purpose a sample size of 120
respondents were collected from class IX students of Private and government CBSE affiliated schools of Delhi.
For this study Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) statistical technique was used. AMOS 23.0 version was
used to conduct CFA. This manuscript sheds light on a comparative study of the gender sensitive factors that
affects class IX students of private and government CBSE affiliated schools of Delhi. It was analysed that
Gender Sensitive Management, Gender Inclusive Participatory learning, Gender Sensitive Stakeholders, Gender
Impartial Behavior and Gender Inclusive Capacity Building factors are high factors affecting gender sensitivity
in both private and government CBSE affiliated schools. These are the keen factors which require attention
while conducting training program on gender sensitisation.
