This novel is chiefly about Radhika, the protagonist, showcasing different aspects of a contemporary Indian woman. Radhika Mehta ponders a city girl who is a strong supporter of feminist ideology but she has to confront the pre-decided norms of Indian society which has been set under patriarchal society. This study shows that every Indian girl of 2016 is independent, ambitious and wants to settle down with a man who doesn’t ask her to choose. They have learnt not only to respond but also react too.
