Abstract
Major psychological and physiological changes occur during adolescence. When the teenager
attempts to create an identity for himself through the accomplishment of academic and career goals, this phase is
also seen as a key educational transition point. Adolescents frequently misinterpret what is "right" and "wrong"
while trying to find their own distinct social identity.
This time period was referred to as "storms and stresses" by G. Stanley Hall (1904). The full and harmonious
functioning of the entire body is mental health. A healthy body and sound mind are compatible. The balanced
and comprehensive development of the personality is mental wellness. Various circumstances during the
adolescent years have an impact on children's mental health. The present study focuses on adolescent mental
health, resilience, and other factors affecting mental health of adolescents. Thus, the present study examines the
relationship between wellbeing and resilience in regard to adolescent mental health.
