Abstract
The teacher is the most vital and appropriate person in the entire formal educational setting for inculcating values in young learners and so, from this point of view, it is extremely necessary to ensure that he plays his role as a model of character and good behavior and as an epitome of those values which the society wishes to inculcate in learners. that effective teaching is as much about relationship as it is about ‘technical’ proficiency, the author examines the values of teachers that inform classroom relationships, and poses the question as to whether there are particular teacher personal values that are necessary for quality values education. This question is addressed by focusing on the teaching strategies involved in the major approaches to values education, and by deducing the teacher values necessary for effective teaching. Cultural worth orientations area unit a side of the cultural system of societies; basic values area unit a side of the temperament system of people. If we tend to don't confuse them, we can use them to achieve a way richer understanding of human behavior across societies.
