One of the fully oriented, dimensionless plasma simulation programs has now matured and is used to study advanced accelerator concepts, particularly particle acceleration using a laser wave field. The program incorporates fluid models and intracellular particle models, which can be used independently or in combination to perform hybrid simulations.
