Abstract
In the present study, we will attempt to highlight the artistic characteristics in the writings of “Mohamed El-Bachir El-Ibrahimi”, one of the pillars of the Arabic language and rhetoric who devoted his life to serving Algeria to revive its components and glories in the fields of language, science, education, and religion. The scholar Sheikh Muhammad al-Bashir al-Ibrahimi was one of the pillars of science, literature, rhetoric, reform, and education in Algerian culture, a towering symbol among its symbols, and one of its most famous contemporary writers. Algeria, Islam, and Arabism were the focal points of his interest and the arena of his pen, and this literary struggle was social, religious, and political. The writings of Al-Ibrahimi are characterized by numerous artistic features that have secured them an eternal place in the history of Arabic literature. Anyone who enters his creative world discovers his exceptional literary talent and unique literary style, which combines originality of expression and depth of thought. One also notices his reliance on rhetorical imagery, in addition to the literary beauty that bestows a charm upon his texts, touching the feelings and minds of readers. The Ibrahimi employs figurative imagery and rhetorical devices in his writings in an attractive and influential manner, which enhances the power of his message and its impact on the recipient who is dazzled by the charm of his rhetoric, the quality of his words, and the magnificence of his speech. He has combined eloquence of tongue and clarity of expression. His writings can be read in one sitting, as the beauty rhetoric and the impressiveness of performance captivate the reader, guiding him through all the pages until he completes them.
