Abstract
21st century provided open space for the technology adaptation in the field of education. This
technological usage in the education made the teaching fraternity as techno savvy. Present
pandemic period created techno dependency in massive way. Primary education to higher
education gone under with technology based education system. Teacher’s uses technology for
effective teaching as like students depends on technology for better understanding of the
concepts. Technology helped to students learning and teachers teaching. Main aim of this article
to analyze the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) knowledge of student teachers of
Bengaluru. In this study 200 student teachers of different B.Ed colleges were selected randomly
as samples. Student teachers opinion about ICT knowledge related to their teaching and learning
is positive. Student’s teacher’s opinion towards ICT application in teaching learning process tool
was used for data collection. In ICT areas such as Demonstration Amenities, PC Alertness, PC
Working Expertise, and Internet Application, there is a substantial variation in opinion among
student teachers from three different universities. The current study's stated hypothesis remains
substantial by the side of 0.01 level. The aforementioned demonstrates that there is a substantial
gap between colleges.
