This research compared the prime-time news formats and themes covered by the public-service channel DD News to those of the commercial networks Times Now and India Today. This research examined each news item and show type independently. In terms of creating news shows, the chosen networks are distinct from one another. The news content of public service broadcasting is highest, and the news bulletin style is used most often. Although public news outlets tend to cover less ground, they do their best to highlight key stories and deliver them in an accessible manner.
