Pages: 92-99
Abstract
The media at large has a significant impact on people's lives. Media exposure begins at an earlier and earlier age, therefore it should come as no surprise that they have a profound impact on children and adolescents and have become an integral part of the educational process. The modern world would be unrecognisable if we suddenly lost access to global media like television and the Internet. Even young children are guilty of this behaviour. Most of them use media regularly at home and at class. The purpose of this article is to present and debate theoretical and empirical findings about the daily usage of mass media.
