Abstract
This study aims to shed light on the extent of the rural child’s use of technological means and knowledge of the negative and positive impact on the social, psychological, health and educational aspects of the child’s life, and the supervisory and developmental role played by the family in guidance and protection of the child from the dangers of communication technology, and knowledge of threats to the human security of the child in light of the challenges of communication technology of the present and the future, and in the absence of cyber security laws in many countries and Iraq in particular, we find that the security of the child is threatened.
