Abstract
In the contemporary Indian context, a pressing concern revolves around establishing a theoretical framework within feminism, with a focus on unraveling the intricate dynamics between men and women. This inquiry delves into the rich tapestry of ancient Indian philosophical traditions, where the interplay between genders manifests through three distinct models. These models, integral to the metaphysical framework shaping reality, challenge conventional metaphysical classifications that typically distinguish between living and non-living entities. The unique categorization based on male-female attributes prompts critical reflection on its validity and the need for a distinct perspective to lend it meaning. This paper endeavours to delve into the requisite perspective for such classification, shedding light on the three models encapsulating the man-woman relationship. Additionally, it aims to explore the ramifications of these models within the domain of feminist theory.
