Abstract
This research introduces a test setup devised to investigate the interaction between a fluid-powered
support in a fully-mechanized excavation operation and the adjacent rock formations. The setup
comprises a loading experimental platform, a two-column shielding fluid-powered support, a fluidpowered loading system, a signal acquisition system, and an information processing system.
