Abstract
The traditional wet chemical co-precipitation method has been used to produce pure chromium
nanoparticles with the general formula CrFe2O4. The prepared sample was annealed at 600 0C for four
hours. The formation of a single-phase cubic spinel structure was confirmed by obtaining room temperature
X-ray diffraction patterns for the generated sample. The surface morphology of produced samples was
investigated using a scanning electron microscope. According to XRD and SEM measurements, the
particles' size is in the nanometre range. The lattice constant's stated range was satisfied. The magnetic
properties were investigated using the pulse field hysteresis loop technique. The levels of saturation
magnetisation and coercivity were found to be greater than those of their bulk equivalents.
