Abstract
Sign language is only way for communication between normal and deaf
people. Normal people don’t understand the sign language. So, that theyare not interested to
talk with disabled people like deaf and dump people, but they often find it difficult to
communicate with ordinary people as we do not understand their sign language. The disabled
people also find difficulty to learn the sign language. Therefore, there existsa communication
barrier. To alleviate this restriction, we propose a device that can turn the touch of their hands
into a sound that the average person can grasp. This device contains a Wired Glove, which
includes a flexible sensor and an accelerometer. These sensors sense the movement of the
hands and fingers. This program contains a speech synthesizer circuit that converts this hand
movement into a real-time speech output. Theoutput voice is English. Therefore, this device
provides an effective means of communication for both the deaf and the general people.
