Abstract
The approach and structure for reviewing Home Science education in Kenya have been mostly constant over the years, even though this has been the case with each commission of inquiry into the curriculum in Kenya. According to the published works, the nation has long depended on an advisory council to assess current educational policies and programs and propose improvements. Stakeholders' opinions, particularly those of educators, are undervalued. At different points in time, the rationale for conducting curriculum reviews has centered on the pursuit of quality and relevance in relation to the educational and developmental objectives of the nation. The assessment, structure, and content of Home Science have all been impacted by the changes that have been implemented. Consequently, this research set out to assess the efficacy of past reviews of Home Science curricula in Kenya and record the developments that followed.
