Abstract
The present paper deals with the hyphomycetes of Nagapur forest. The forest decomposed plant parts. The dead and decaying wood, litter, old leaves, and fallen twigs were collected and for the colonization of hyphomycetes. Ten species were encountered which were illustrated and described. Out of which.Cladosporium oxysporium Berk and Curt, Curvulariarichardiae Alcorn, Fusariella atrovirens Sacc.Were new records to Maharashtra Alternarialongissima Deighton and Macgarvie, Cordanamusae(Zimm) Hohnel, Echinobotryumatrum. Corda, Gyrothrix podosperma (Corda) Rabenhorst, Scytalidium lignicola Pesante are verycommon.
