Abstract
Given that society is split into competitive or hostile social classes, this article is an indepth analysis that presents an explanation of social choosing as a conflictive process of
social change. Although social development is hampered by the past, reformist and
revolutionary alternatives exist now. Due to ongoing hostility and individual choice, the
social climate is volatile and unpredictable. In the last section, we present some research
ideas and make a quick comment on how the environment and nature themselves create
acts of spontaneity that drive massive societal shifts.
