Abstract
The study sheds light on the effects of COVID-19 on rural livelihood and economic stability. The pandemic crisis has immensely impacted the employment rate and agriculture in India. The rural population of India is majorly connected with agriculture as agriculture is the basic way of income for the rural population. Although the unemployment rate in rural India has increased, the agricultural sector has experienced effective growth during the pandemic crisis. Thereafter, the government of India has implemented initiatives under particular schemes and policies which are discussed in this study. The researcher has used secondary sources for gathering information about the impact of the pandemic crisis on rural livelihood in India. A secondary quantitative research technique is used in this research paper which refers to the collection of numerical data by using secondary sources. All the collected data are analysed graphically and descriptively by using the SPSS software.
