Abstract
The 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the General Assembly in September 2015 aim to alter the world. The 17 objectives and 169 targets of the SDGs, which were drafted by 193 countries after a lengthy debate, are meant to inspire worldwide action on human and environmental challenges. The composite index score of Jammu and Kashmir has improved by 8 points in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of good health and well-being for people. On Thursday, Rajiv Kumar, Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog, launched the third version of India's SDG Index. According to the research, the UT's composite index score in SDG-3 increased from 62 in 2019-20 to 70 in 2020-21. As a result of the improvement in total score, Jammu and Kashmir has been placed in the category of "frontrunners" (with index score greater than or equal to 65) in 2019-20, officials added. The paper is Descriptive cum exploratory in nature and is based on the Secondary data.
