Abstract
The current study aims to explore the mental health of adolescent students who are victims of school
bullying, a topic that has attracted the attention of researchers in various fields due to the academic
problems and psychological and behavioural disorders that bullying causes, which may affect a student’s
ability to adapt and cope, which directly affects their ment al health. This study aims to shed light on the
mental health of adolescent students who are victims of school bullying. The sample included three cases
and information and data were collected through the use of research tools such as semi structured
inter views, a bullying scale and a mental health scale. The study found that school aged adolescents who
are victims of bullying do not enjoy good mental health; rather, they suffer from high levels of anxiety,
phobias, somatic anxiety, hysteria, obsessive comp ulsive disorder, and depression, indicating
psychological distress. The results are discussed in the light of theoretical perspectives and previous
studies.
