Abstract
In this paper, an attempt has been made to talk about mystic thought of expression in the poetic writings of Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur while it is tried best to focus on Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur’s mystic philosophy in his qualitative poetic writings which have given a true sense of outlook on mysticism in the sphere of Arabic poetry literature. The prominent poet Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur was born in a small town in the Eastern Delta of Egypt in 1931. Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur became known for his mystical Arabic thought of writing. He occupies a curious place among the mystic poets in Arabic literature. As one of the poets who broke with the old and rigid conventions of Arabic poetic writings after ‘Ruh al- Qissa’ a new trend in the field of mysticism. He is considered as one of the bright figures in the twentieth-century revival of Arabic poetry and deemed a pioneer of modern Arabic poetry. Through his symbolic aspects of writing in the poetry ‘Ruh al- Qissa’ and ‘Mudhakkirat al-Sufi Bishr al- Hafi’, Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur is found to have given a profoundest expression of mysticism and the nature of spirituality. An effort is undertaken, through the small paper, to design a frame work with a proven support of the poetic writings of Salah ‘Abd al- Sabur through which it has been tried to enhance the qualities of human beings in the realms of mysticthought and spirituality.
