Abstract
While people save time, space and costs with the opportunities and conveniences offered by technology in the field of education, they also have great opportunities for more effective and accurate operations. Today, most educational materials are produced thanks to technological products and supported by various tools and equipment. In fact, exam, evaluation, rating and rewarding processes, which are important stages of education recently, are realized thanks to online applications, which are technological products. For this reason, it is necessary to take necessary and sufficient security measures in online exams. Otherwise, many problems arise in education and training and people's trust is damaged. In order not to cause these disruptions, security measures should be handled meticulously, examined in the light of up-to-date information in the developing technology and necessary updates should be made. The first of these is the personal and private personal data specified within the scope of KVKK and GDPR, and the necessity of confidentiality and inaccessibility of any data that is not related to the exam. If all these conditions are taken into account, online exams will be fair and similar to face-to-face exams, in a sufficiently controlled and secure way.
