Abstract
Sales representative is a person who sells products on behalf of a company. Sales representatives work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Sales representatives are the conductors of a company’s revenue engine. Home appliances sales representatives are sell the products to Dealers, Agencies and Showrooms on behalf of producers. They might work directly for the company producing the electronic and electrical goods, or for an independent sales agency whose clients are manufacturers and wholesalers. Sell products to businesses, organizations, and governments on behalf of manufacturers. The important objective of the study is problems and prospects of home appliance sales representatives in Kanyakumari district. The study based on both primary and secondary data. The sample size was fixed at 120. The important finding of the study is satisfaction level of working conditions and present job of home appliances sales representatives, Present Salary with the score of 3.68 contributed 1st rank and Work Place with the score of 2.95 contributed 11th rank.
