Abstract
The present study aimed to finding out the personality traits in light of the big five factors model,
which is predominant among the excelled students in Ouargla secondary schools, we used the
Goldberg’s NEO Five Factor Personality Inventory (1999), the Arabization of Mr. Mohammed Abu
Hashem (2005) , there was reassuring to them validity by conducting a scoping study for the purpose
of calculating the psychometric properties before they are applied in the basic study, and dealt with
