Abstract
This study aimed to try to know the reality of the application of the population policy and its relationship to reducing the rates of child mortality and infants, which in particular represent basic indicators that reflect the reality of the healthy and living conditions prevailing in society, and its trends and developments shed light on the success of the health, economic and social policies adopted by the state.
Reducing the level of infant mortality rates is considered one of the most important goals of health policies and programs in various countries, which is of great importance during the first year of life, as it is considered among the most important demographic indicators to measure the standard of living and the extent of economic, social, cultural and health progress, as the lower this rate indicates the better. Living and general health conditions.
