Abstract
In the face of the constant threat and severity of terrorist acts that continue to claim an increasing number of victims, the international community is incessantly exposed to such dangers. Anticipating certain early interventions conducted by security and law enforcement services in the European Union member states, such as profiling practices, has become essential for identifying individuals on the path to radicalization or violent extremism. This article explores the question of these profiling measures and the issues surrounding their application in accordance with human rights principles. We aim to shed light on the repercussions of these measures on specific segments of the population.
