Abstract
The Raspberry Pi circuit is used for the speech sensor, which is the main component of this water dispenser system. Other components include an IR sensor, a microphone, jars to store water, pipes, and a motor. In this project, a voice sensor picks up the user's voice and relays the appropriate data to the microcontroller so it can determine whether the user needs hot or cold water. To decide whether or not to place the glass below the pipe, the microcontroller examines the data sent to the IR sensor. The system uses infrared (IR) sensors to identify the presence of water glasses. The IR sensor notifies the microcontroller that a glass is there, and the motor is activated to force water from the specific jar—either hot or cold—through the pipes. The sensor notifies the motor accordingly if the glass is not in place, thus the water does not flow through the pipe until it is. With this technology, you may simply speak to have hot or cold water in your house, office, or other location.
