Abstract
Visually impaired people have difficulty finding information about public transportation plans. There are
many programs designed to help the visually impaired to use public transportation. Most systems offer only one-way
communication and prefer the most expensive and sophisticated device. The purpose of this project is to alleviate
the difficulties faced by visually impaired people when using mobile, using a wireless communication system. This
paper introduces a helpful program for the visually impaired who assists them with the means of transmission. The
proposed system uses wireless technology for communication purposes. Within the proposed system audio messages
are delivered to blind people through a loudspeaker installed at the bus stop. The purpose of this project is to
alleviate the difficulties faced by visually impaired people when using transit, using a wireless communication
system consisting of three sections of the Person section, the Bus Section and the stop section. When blind people
want to understand the small print of a particular bus ride, the person section sends a request via the WSN network
Part of the bus stop, receives those requests and therefore the bus details are collected by the RFID receiver. Voice
output is generated through a speaker to bring the bus to the disabled person and the associated details are displayed
on the LED section installed at the stop. The bus section alerts drivers to a blind waiting passenger.
