Abstract
Most people are interested in hearing about efforts to improve child welfare because of its prominence in the social fabric. It is crucial that the public have access to information on child welfare, and the media plays a key role in doing just that. It's crucial that media outlets accurately represent child welfare concerns, since these discourses have a significant impact on how the general public views these problems. Data from New Vision was analyzed using a cross-sectional study methodology. Information was. Both random and purposeful samples were employed in the research. Interview schedules and questionnaires were used to compile the data. Among the rights that were discovered to be unknown to Kampala's youth was the right to healthcare. According to the results, New, vision works to raise awareness and educate the public about children's rights in a variety of different ways. The research also revealed that selectiveness, prejudice, and pollution are challenges when advocating for free speech. According to the data, the topic of children's rights and the "new vision for childhood" was also covered rather widely.
