Abstract
It is difficult, theoretically and realistically, to separate the creative text from society, because the origin of the text is a strong social obsession that aroused the creator, and from there it becomes a mirror of him and a representation of his various issues and contradictions.
This research paper attempts to present a sociological approach to the narrative of one of the most important writers in the world: Chekhov, Chingiz Aitmatov, Yusuf Idris.
This approach takes two directions:
A theoretical trend in which it sheds light on the relationship of literature to society, and the specifics of the sociological approach, and a practical trend in which it attempts to monitor the representations of herd theory and women within this narrative.
Keywords
Society, criticism, women, herd, literature.
