In this paper, we attempt to study the poetic passages of the poet Ibn al- Abbar alBalansi al Quda’i from their rhythmic aspect. These passages address a variety of different wellknown poetic purposes that endeavor to trace and observe the phenomenon of rhythm and association to the structure of the poetic text.
