Role and Importance of Education in the Emerging Indian Society with Relation to ‘Adjustment’

Abstract
The 200 years of British rule ended and India became independent amidst scenes of unprecedented Jubilations. The independence was obtained at a heavy price as thousands were massacred and millions were uprooted from their native soil. With the introduction of the constitution of India on 26th January 1950, India emerged as a sovereign, democratic and republic country. Education plays an important role in the development of a child. Today there are various things which influences the soft heart and mind of a child. In this mechanical world, which is full of different conflicts we have to make our child emotionally strong and adjustable. The teacher has to a vital role in respect with the development of a child. Emotional development is one of the aspect of various development which gives the children emotional strength and make them able to adjust in the solutions of conflict, stress and various problems.
