Many more employment are created by automation than are lost to it. Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, concerns about machines taking over human jobs have persisted, and those concerns have only grown in recent decades due to the increased prevalence of automation. This paper investigates whether or not high-skilled and low-skilled people react differently to automation in the workplace in terms of job satisfaction.
