The presence of the miraculous character in Khawla Hamdi’s novel, An Tabqa (To Stay), necessitated understanding the most important concepts defined by the most prominent critics specialized in the study of narrative terms within the narrative text. The concept of character is linked the classification of its types according to their use, while the miraculous character is the focus of our study in this research paper. With the course of events as well as the change in time and place, the presence of miraculous character varied between a realistic character and then transformed into an unrealistic one (ghost).
