Abstract
This study aims to identify the key components of Hotel Management (HM) education that contribute to higher employability rates, as evaluated by HRM graduates and HRM/HM faculty. Additionally, it investigates the relationship between these HM education components and the importance and readiness for job competencies, as assessed by HM graduates. The study utilizes a quantitative descriptive-correlational design, employing purposive sampling. The findings of this study indicate that the core course "Ergonomics and Facilities Planning for the Hospitality Industry" received a higher rating in terms of importance and readiness for job competencies. Furthermore, it was observed that graduates with less industry experience perceived greater importance and readiness for job competencies compared to those with longer industry tenure. Additionally, the data suggests a moderate relationship between the number of industry experience of teachers and their rating in the "Fundamentals in Lodging Operations" course. Based on these results, it is strongly recommended that curriculum planners align the skills and competencies of graduates with the needs of business enterprises and industries.
