Abstract
This research aims to analyze the nature of the relationship between economic
growth and environmental pollution in Iraq for the period (2005-2024) and to test
the applicability of the Environmental Kuznets Curve Hypothesis. This research is
based on the premise that excessive reliance on oil revenues as the primary driver of
GDP has led to continuous environmental degradation
