Abstract
Strong organizational culture and values are prerequisite in any organization in order to build a positive working atmosphere, ensure enhanced performance of the individuals and most important to shape the behaviour, core principles, and attitude of individuals within the firm. Leadership plays key role in establishing firm foundation of strong and motivating organizational culture and values. The transformational leadership that persistently engages in motivating and supporting the individuals within the organization facilitate trust and communication as well as create an environment of intense values, integrity and standards. The cross-sectional nature of this study that incorporates quantitative and qualitative analysis on understanding the factors that contribute to the development of a positive working environment directly validates the immense role leadership plays in the same. Leaders who set an example by depicting values, responsibilities, organizational skills help structure integrity within the organization and it increases the necessity for any firm to invest more on leadership development programs. The paper investigates various ways on how to enrich the leadership skills of its individuals as well as explores how it result in establishing a strong foundation of organizational culture and values.
