Abstract
This theoretical study examines the principles explaining learning based on the views of Carl Rogers, the founder of this movement. As this approach is considered as one of the most important educational intellectual currents with resonance. Due to the lack of literature concerned with defining the frameworks of the humanistic theory of learning, we find it necessary to write this article in order to highlight the humanistic educational bases and strategies such as indirect education strategies, or what is also known as the learner-centred strategy. This is by clarifying the nature of the educational roles of both the teacher and the learner within them. We also try to highlight their most important characteristics and the principles of facilitated learning. As well as identifying the most important teaching methods adopted in the learner-centredstrategy which is considered as one of the most important demands of educational systems in the twenty-first century.
