Abstract
This study aimed to know the importance of using on of Th importance of using on of tho models of the item response theory(irt) ( Rasch model) in building tests and the obstacles to their use from the perception of the teachers and post grad students , and the study questions came as follows: 1- How important is the application of the Rasch model in achieving objectivity and accuracy in psychological measurement from the perception of the teachers and post grad students in Algeria? 2. What are the obstacles and difficulties of using Rasch model by researchers from the perception of the teachers and post grad students in Algeria? 3. What are the most important future proposals that help to move from classical theory to modern theory on the part of researchers from the perception of the teachers and post grad students in Algeria? To answer these questions and, in order to achieve the objectives of the study, we use the descriptive analytical method level tabulation studyes , the sample of the study (40) teachers and post grad students from deferent universities selected randomly, As for the data collection tools relied upon in the current study, a questionnaire was built on the importance of using one of the item Response theory (Rasch model) in constructing tests and measurement standards and obstacles to using this model among researchers, in addition to providing some suggestions that help researchers to move from classical theory to modern theory for researchers As a result this study revealed that: the importance of using the Rasch model as one of the models of the single response theory in achieving objectivity and accuracy in building tests and measures from the perception of the teachers and post grad students . Most of the sample members agreed on the difficulties and obstacles mentioned in the questionnaire that stand behind the researchers' application of the models of the item Response theory and the transition from the traditional theory of psychometrics to the modern theory and application of its models. Most of the sample members agreed on the future proposals that were presented in the questionnaire, at a very high rate based on the results of the study, a set of recommendations was produced.
