Twitter Developed Into A Powerful Political Platform-A Historical Perspective

Abstract
Politicians have long utilized the press as a means of reaching out to the voting public.
The social media's scope, quickness, and low cost are what make this a special
opportunity for leaders. The connection between political leaders and the microblogging
service Twitter is the subject of this research study. It offers a thorough and methodical
examination of how two modern Indian political figures, Narendra Modi and Rahul
Gandhi, have used Twitter. Studying the impact of an alteration in Twitter's worldwide
policy in late 2020 that stated friction prior to users could engage in tweets that it outlines
trends in the frequency that these individuals use Twitter and how their followers
respond. Political parties as well as other authorities who make use of the platform may
readily use this paradigm of analysis.
