Born in the tranquil village of Digawa, Bhiwani district, Haryana, India, Shakti Singh's journey from modest rural beginnings to becoming a record-breaking shot put and discus thrower is an inspirational testament to the potential that lies within individuals, regardless of their background. His life story is enriched by the legacy of his grandfather, Sh. Mohar Singh, a decorated soldier, and accomplished athlete who earned the esteemed title of "JANGI" for his bravery during the Second World War.
