Abstract
This study examined the effectiveness of the Psycho-educational profile for adolescents and adults in the Algerian-Tunisian context. The AAPEP was applied to a sample of 63 children; 37 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and 26 with other neurodevelopmental disorders but without autism in Algeria and Tunisia, among which 27 were women. Their ages ranged from 11 to 35 years.
The construct validity of the AAPEP was supported by the high internal consistency of each subtest, in addition to the moderate to high correlation coefficients between the subtests. The correlation matrix ranged from 0.71 to 0.95. These results provide strong evidence of the validity of the AAPEP concept and its effectiveness in the Algerian-Tunisian context.
